The front lower bridge is not finished! oh, no!

Well, I thought the front lower denture was finished but the dentist was not happy with it. So, he is doing it over again. He is starting from the beginning.

I went to see him yesterday and he took impressions again. He said the bridge did not fit properly.

I am disappointed that it will take more time, but glad that he is doing it correctly.

I went to the dentist again today. The front lower bridge is finished. He is not cementing the unit in place until the dentures are finished.

He took impressions for the denture structure.

I finally may see the end of this soon.

He pointed out that the upper denture and bridge, which were made by Kreativ Dental, are crooked. The denture does not fit perfectly into the bridge attachment. It sticks out. The teeth are not even across the front and the length of the teeth is uneven from front to back.  I do not want to get this replaced. It would cost an additional $15,000US. The new dentures will work around this mess.

Periodontist

I went to the periodontist on Friday. He cleaned the gums and what is left of the tooth area under  the lower front temporary bridge. It was irritated by the temporary bridge.

I paid him $375US.

I go back to the dentist on Thursday.

I hope it does not snow. It is supposed to be very cold next week.

More snow.

My appointment with the dentist was cancelled again today because of snow. This has been dragging on and on. It is annoying.

Someone commented to me that it has not snowed recently. I am not in Budapest. I am in New York. Since the New Year, and our new mayor, we have had quite a few snow storms and rain storms. We have had a cold, snowy winter. Our winters in recent years have been mild. This winter, we are back to our old fashioned wet, cold weather.

The lab for the dentist who I am seeing seems to be slow.

Kreativ Dental has a good lab. Their crowns and bridges look good. It is the dentists who are bad. The work inside the bridge they made for me was terrible. It got infected because the roots were exposed and not sterile. This took over a year to happen. The shape of the teeth was excellent though.

Someone suggested that I am a Budapest dentist who is afraid of competition. I have no idea how to prove this is all real. Kreativ Dental knows who I am. They have emailed me.

The appointment was canceled.

There have been two snow storms recently. The lab is backed up, so, the dentist canceled the appointment that was for today.

I have another appointment in more than a week.

Another visit to the dentist.

Today, I went to the dentist again. He is still fitting the front, lower bridge. It needs some cosmetic adjustments. The color could be better and the size needs a slight adjustment. Other than that, it looks good.

I go back next week.

I read a travel review of Budapest in the New York Times. It was critical of the Opera. I disagree. The Budapest Opera is a gem. Yes, it does not usually have big name stars but it is what opera should be, an intimate, tuneful, lovely experience. It is not a huge circus like the Metropolitan Opera.

I was surprised that it did not mention dental tourism in Budapest. It is a big business there. Of course, there was no mention of Kreativ Dental.

$6,500 US more to the dentist

I went to the dentist on Friday. He had to redo the impressions to finalize the front lower bridge (crowns). They should be completed next week.

I paid $6,500 US more.

I was adding up what I paid to the dentists and oral surgeon last year. I need the figure to file my tax forms. I was amazed that I had spent so much money to redo the work done by Kreativ Dental. It is such a waste.

I had another visit to the dentist today. The bridge was not finished. He had to do more impressions. I go back next week.

Someone commented to me that I must be a competing dentist. I am not a competing dentist. I am a previous patient of Kreativ Dental who was taken advantage of. They could have fixed this problem with my teeth, but, after I complained to them, they said, "NO." The Kreativ Dental warranty is worthless unless they agree to help you.

Kreativ Dental knows who I am.

I have wasted a fortune because of Kreativ Dental. I am glad that some people who go there have no further problems. Sometimes they may get things right.

Just because you think they solved your problem does not mean you do not have a problem. It took over a year for my teeth to go bad after I went to Budapest. They looked ok on the outside as they rotted underneath the crowns they inserted.

To the person who emailed me (who I could not respond to): "Good Luck, I hope it works out for you." I guess you did not read that part of my blog that shows that the owner of Kreativ Dental was indicted by the United States FBI. I am not making this stuff up.

I have to go to the dentist again today.  Today, I get the final version of the front lower bridge. 

The bridge is almost finished. $250US more for xrays.

I went to the dentist twice more. The lower front bridge is almost finished. Everything takes a long time. I paid $250 more for xrays.

Kreativ Dental wrote to me and insulted me. They think I should feel sorry for them? That is a laugh.

Another visit to the dentist; fitted for new bridge.

Today, I went to the dentist to have the new lower bridge fitted. This is for the front 6 teeth. The lab made the metal form which was fitted to my teeth and seemed to be ok. In two weeks, it will be finished and glued in place.

Next time, I have to pay $6,500 US more. This ordeal will be over in about 2 months. After the bridge is glued in place, I will get a new lower partial denture. This is the same work I had done at Kreativ Dental in Budapest in 2011.
