Pain, pain, major PAIN!!

I am in MAJOR PAIN from the root canals performed yesterday. The pain medications do not help much.

I hate you, Kreativ Dental!

Two more root canals today!

First, I went to the dentist and he adjusted the bottom dentures so they would fit into my mouth again. He explained that the infection made the bone swollen so the dentures would not fit.

I, then, went to the endodontist to get the two root canals finished. They were still infected so the endodontist cleaned them out and resealed them temporarily.

He started two more root canals so the infection on the bottom front would finally go away.
He said the roots were dead in one. It was full of pus from the abscess.

He is going to clean them out again next week. The teeth are now sensitive. I am still on the Augmentin and Motrin.

The xrays still show abscess from the bad job under crowns. The endodontist said the crowns were not sealed properly.  He is sealing them from the inside.

Budapest... what a bad idea.
Kreativ Dental... what a bad idea.

I have more dental work tomorrow.

I am going to the endodontist tomorrow to, hopefully, get the first 2 root canals finished. I also have to go to my dentist because the lower denture no longer fits. I suppose there is some swelling on the gums.

The new antibiotic seems to be well tolerated.

The Augmentin I was given seems to be working. I have had no reaction to it.

I see the reviews of Kreativ Dental and have to laugh. They are written by Kreativ Dental or on travel for dental websites which are obviously paid for by dentists.

When I was in Budapest the dentist said they threatened to sue someone who put something negative about them on the web. I should have taken that as a big clue. Now, after my experiences, these treatment abroad websites seem so phoney. Kreativ Dental treatment is bad. They do not care in what state the patient is in when he or she leaves Budapest. And, of course, afterwards there is no care by them or it is at their whim. I am stuck and not only is it going to cost me more than if I had it done here in the first place but now my teeth and in worse shape because of them.

The doctor put me on Augmentin. I hope I have no reaction to that drug.

I went to Budapest to have some dental work done at Kreativ Dental.

They made upper and lower partial dentures to replace what I had. They also put crowns on my front teeth. That was a cosmetic job that I thought was a good idea since I was there anyway. The lower area is now completely infected.

The doctor put me on Augmentin. I hope I have no reaction to that drug. The operation is healing but aches. I can not wear the lower dentures while it heals. I hope they fit properly when it is healed.

I had nothing wrong with my mouth when I went to Kreativ Dental in Budapest. I simply needed new partial dentures for the back teeth. Now, I have major problems. 

The root canals are being done through the crowns since all of the front crowns are attached all the way across. I paid for individual crowns and if anything more happens I will have to replace 6 crowns on each of the top and bottom.

A lot has happened since my last post. Not much was good.

On Wednesday, the abscess returned while the root canals were half done. My face is quite swollen and painful. I am taking pain medication.

I had to go to an Oral Surgeon and have it lanced. Then the next day, I went back to have the drain removed.  It was extremely painful before I went to the Surgeon. 

Then, on Thursday, I started having a reaction to the antibiotics. I had to go to a dermatologist. I have pain in my buttocks and a huge red spot on it...all from the antibiotics. Of course, I stopped taking the antibiotics.

I wish I had never gone to Budapest.

The drug reaction has stopped spreading. I was very worried about this.

I am going to the Emergency Room today because I need antibiotics for the abscess. I do not want it to return. They will know better than a dentist what I should take. And, It is Saturday.

Budapest, blah!

I started having root canals today.

The second opinion dentist send me to an endodontist.

I need root canals on all of my lower front teeth. I started having root canals today on two teeth. The dentist drilled through the crowns made by Kreativ Dental. The porcelain on the back of the crown flaked off. The dentist said it was made too thinly.

I am getting a second opinion tomorrow.

 The pain has mostly subsided. The swelling has gone down. I have finished the penicillin. I am still taking Motrin.

I have an appointment with a dentist tomorrow to get a second opinion on what needs to be done.

Motrin can only do so much. I have jaw pain that is not going away. The swelling is down by about 75% but there is still pain. I have to be careful when I eat. Cold hurts the front teeth and the pain from that lasts for hours.

I have an appointment with another dentist on Thursday for a second opinion.

In pain and taken advantage of.

I am still taking the penicillin and Motrin. There is some pain as the dosage wears off. The swelling has gone down a lot. There is still a lump on the jaw though. The teeth that are decayed have pain when I eat. The teeth still look lovely though.

It is a shame that the understructure was so shoddily done. There was nothing to hold this together. They knew that after I left Budapest my mouth would fall apart. It is hard to complain from New York City to Budapest. I complained to them while I was there. None of this is a surprise.


It is so disheartening to feel taken advantage of again. Budapest is a lovely city. We had a very nice time there. We went to wonderful concerts and had great food. The people there, if they are so inclined, know how to take advantage of tourists easily. The language makes it impossible to defend oneself. They made a fine building to entice the medical tourists but, then, do not do a decent, ethical job. There are people like this everywhere.

Of course, some people get away unscathed and do ads for them saying how wonderful it all is. I wonder how long it takes for their case to decay and how they feel when they can not take their endorsement down.

I am still taking pencillin and Motrin.

There is less pain but still some swelling in the gums at the Kreativ Dental crowns. I am still taking  the Penicillin and Motrin to keep the infection under control.

I am in pain.

I am in pain. I went to the dentist in New York and he said I have an infection under the lower bridge. I am taking Penicillin and Motrin.

The entire lower bridge is ruined. The teeth below the lower bridge are infected because they were not sealed when it was installed. The dentist did not put cement under the middle teeth of the bridge. It was laziness and lack of care.

There was nothing wrong with those teeth when I went to Budapest in the Fall of 2011. I wanted them capped so they would look good with the new partial dentures.

Kreativ Dental does not care what kind of job they send you home with. They knew it was bad when I left. We discussed it. They would not change it.

So, here I sit in pain at 4:30am thinking about what a fool I was to go to Budapest and how much this is going to cost me again.
